The event kicked off at the GTCentre in Victoria Island on May 2, with an engaging masterclass by Christian Duhalde, a celebrated chef who demonstrated how to craft the perfect kids’ pizza.

With meticulous attention to detail, Duhalde walked the audience through every step, leaving them inspired and eager to try their hand at homemade pizza.

Speaking on his 29-year career as a chef, Duhalde, the Chilean creative director of La Taverna, a Latin American and Spanish restaurant in Lagos, said “passion” led him to the culinary world.

“You know, I consider myself very lucky to choose what I love. Many people sometimes follow a career because of family members, and you realise it is not yours,” he said.
