During a recent visit to the presidential villa in Abuja, accompanied by Afrobeats superstar Davido and music executive Ubi Franklin, Cubana knelt before the president, after which he declared his support for “Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027”.

A video shared on Franklin’s Instagram page on Sunday captured the trio exchanging pleasantries with the president.

“They are both your members, sir, they are APC,” Davido said while introducing Cubana and Franklin to Tinubu.

Franklin informed the president that he had toured 15 states with him during the 2023 campaign. Tinubu responded warmly, saying, “Very good. We succeeded and made it to the presidency”.

Cubana then confidently declared that Tinubu would secure another victory in 2027.

“We will succeed again in 2027,” he affirmed.

Although the purpose of their visit remains undisclosed, it followed a series of high-profile meetings with other top government officials.

Earlier in the week, Cubana, Davido, and Franklin met with Godswill Akpabio, the senate president; Tajudeen Abbas, the house of representatives speaker; and Shettima.

Cubana, who shared footage from the outing on Instagram, captioned one of the posts: “Try as much as possible to get close to people who look exactly like your future. Abuja nights with Nigeria’s 003. The person that gets OBO, too, gets power”.

In another clip with Shettima, he wrote, “002 Nigeria, this is my father”.

This was after a viral photo of the entrepreneur kneeling before Shettima sparked intense reactions online.

“The Symbol Is The Broom 💥 Together They Can Never Break Us @officialasiwajubat 001. My Desire For You Is More Than I Can Explain,” the socialite wrote in the footage capturing him kneeling before Tinubu.

Cubana’s actions in the past days have triggered heated debate online. While some users applauded it as a traditional mark of respect, others dismissed it as overly submissive.
